A star studded, an unforgettable Diwali Party was celebrated by Indians living in and around Shenzhen wishing friends and family at Intercontinental Hotel, Nanshan on Nov. 13, 2016. About 300 guests attended the event and celebrated with full fanfare.

Diwali, also known as Festival of Lights, is a very important festival for Indians. To Hindus, darkness represents ignorance, and light is a metaphor for knowledge. Therefore, lighting a lamp symbolizes the destruction, through knowledge.

It was an event featuring sumptuous range of Indian food stalls, free flowing beverages and entertainment. People danced, sing, drink, eat and had fun all the evening.
