Bus drivers and conductors pose for a picture in front of three electric double-decker buses introduced in Shenzhen yesterday.

A ceremony was held at Lianhua Hill Park yesterday to mark the introduction in China of the e-bus, K8S, which is manufactured by local automaker BYD. As the world’s first all-electric, zero-emission double-decker bus, the K8S was first showcased in London in October last year. In the future, 30 such e-buses will be used on major tourism routes in Shenzhen.
