Spinning hot pot restaurant in Futian has heads turning!

Shenzhen has its fair share of Japanese influence and this shows in the multiple sushi and yakiniku places popping up. With this comes the much loved rotating sushi establishments such as Genki Sushi, Sushi Express, and Rotating Sushi. These restaurants bring a 50+ year Japanese concept involving sushi dishes being placed on a conveyor system making it easy for the guests to choose what they want as well as saves space and the need for staff. If you're like me and love to go to the rotating sushi spots for the convenience and experience, you will be shocked to see what it happening in Shuiwei with a Chinese twist.

Buried in Shuiwei is a unique jewel that combines the loved Japanese concept of rotating sushi with the locally loved hot pot. Walking down Shui Wei Street to go to another establishment, my friend and I first noticed this concept just off the side of the street. The guests were all sitting with their own bowl of boiling broth while the hot pot ingredients circled around for everyone to pick their ingredients without having to get up from their seats. A separate area for sauces is available but after you have created your sauce, it's an easy and affordable dinner experience with many fresh ingredients from meats, veggies, tofu and eggs. The cost for this is only 2RMB/selection. All selections are skewered and once you are done dining, you are charged based on the number of skewers you have.

Address: 深圳市福田区水围村水围六街 Shuiwei Liujie, Shuiwei Cun, Futian district, Shenzhen

Tel: 13823717462

Average Cost: 50RMB/person
