Meaning:
“恋爱” means “in a relationship,” and “脑” means “brains.” Coined by Chinese netizens, this term refers to the situation where people in a relationship are so smitten by their love that they cannot stop thinking about them; sometimes they become sensitive, worried and even irritable.
Example:
A: 怎么最近小林有点心不在焉？交代他的事情总是忘记。
Zěnme zuìjìn xiǎolín yǒudiǎn xīnbùzàiyān? Jiāodài tā de shìqíng zǒngshì wàngjì。
Why has Xiaolin been absent-minded recently? He always forgets to do the things I tell him to.
B: 他交了个漂亮的女朋友，有点恋爱脑。
Tā jiāo le gè piàoliang de nǚpéngyǒu, yǒudiàn liàn’àinǎo。
He is seeing a very pretty girl and cannot think about anything else.
