Since Tencent launched the WeChat Mini Program function last year, it has been widely received by WeChat users as it allows them to instantly find and use an application through WeChat without downloading the app from an app store.

Shenzhen-based Jiatui Technology is introducing a Mini Program-based business card at the ongoing 20th China Hi-Tech Fair, which is also their first time at the fair.

“The app’s daily WeChat traffic has reached as high as 1 billion, so we believe that our Mini Program-based business card will make sales much easier and more efficient so as to boost sales,” said Huang Yu, client manager of the company.

Huang told the Shenzhen Daily that Jiatui helps companies create their own business cards with a unique QR code on each card. After scanning the QR code, customers will have access to not only basic information about the company, but also direct online purchasing of their products.

According to Huang, their target customers are companies, particularly those in the sales industry, such as real estate, automobile, education and training and insurance companies. “Currently we have more than 20,000 customers including Kaisa, LEXUS and China Life Insurance Co.,” Huang said, adding that their clients sell expensive products or services as these sectors require professional marketing services.

Huang said the AI business card also makes sales much easier as it enables salespeople to keep track of their customers’ viewing records so that they can understand their interests and adjust their marketing strategies accordingly.

Although it’s Jiatui’s first time at the high-tech fair, they’ve attracted a lot of attention.
