The 2019 French Super Cup will be held in Shenzhen on Aug. 3.

The French Professional Football League (LFP) said that at the request of organizing partner and in cooperation with the clubs concerned, its Administrative Council has decided to reschedule the 2019 French Super Cup from July 27 to Aug. 3.

The match will be held in Shenzhen for the second year running, featuring the Ligue 1 champions and the French Cup winners. In the event that the Ligue 1 champions also win the French Cup, the match will see the Ligue 1 champions face off against the league runners-up.

In April 2018, the French Football League (LFP) and Kaisa Culture and Sports Group announced the signing of a major six-year contract for the development of Ligue 1 Conforama in China. The deal resulted in the 2018 and 2019 French Super Cup taking place in Shenzhen, along with a further edition between 2020 and 2023. It has been held outside of France since 2009, with Beijing hosting the 2014 edition.

The 2019 French Super Cup will take place at the 60,000-seat Shenzhen Universiade Center, which is operated by Kaisa Culture and Sports Group.

An International Super Cup will also be held in China, with PSG competing with Inter Milan in Macao on July 27, and PSG vs. Espanyol in Suzhou, East China’s Jiangsu Province, on July 30.
