The Shenzhen transport bureau will post QR codes at bus stops so the public can look up when the buses will arrive, according to a report by the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily yesterday.
By downloading the 交通在手 app, users can check bus information in real time via the digital signboard on the app. By scanning the QR codes at bus stops, residents waiting for buses can check the time the buses will arrive.
At present, residents can check the bus information via the electronic signboards installed at some bus stops or through the apps provided by some operators.
So far, the bureau has installed electronic signboards at 20 bus stops along Shennan Boulevard. The bureau will put more electronic signboards into use in the future.
