The 2019 Greater Bay Area Industrial Fair, which was upgraded from the 21st Dongguan Mould, Metal Working, Plastics and Packaging Exhibition, opened at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center yesterday.
The four-day exhibition has attracted 1,900 exhibitors and is expected to attract 50,000 visits a day.
The exhibition is jointly organized by Guangdong Mould Industry Association, Shenzhen Mould Technology Association, Shenzhen Intelligent Equipment Industry Association, Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Industry Federation and Hong Kong Plastic Machinery Association.
In an area of 160,000 square meters, the exhibition is divided into areas themed around metalwork, moulds and plastic machinery. These include machine tools, measurements, moulds, materials, automation, metal forming, robotics, plastics, packaging, stamping and casting, furnishing and 3-D printing. During the exhibition, the 10th Global Mould Materials and Spare Parts Use Conference, the fourth International Machine Tools Festival and the 2019 International Advanced Manufacturing (Guangdong) Summit will be held.
People driving to the convention center need to reserve a parking space through the traffic police WeChat account, Alipay account or police website, https://szjj.sz.gov.cn. Visitors can also take Metro Line 11 to Tangwei Station and take a shuttle bus from exit A or D between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
