A pop-up amusement space in Shekou will open this week where pet owners can bring their beloved cats, dogs, rabbits and other pets.
Adjacent to the pet play area, which includes a slip-and-slide, seesaw and swing, exhibitions of pet-themed artworks and photos, a pet-related product market and rooftop picnic parties will also be held at the G&G Creative Community where owners can socialize.
Food and drinks for owners are also on sale. Pet-raising experts and volunteers will be available to answer owners’ questions. Staff members will take care of pets if their owners temporarily leave or if their pets get irritated at the event.
All pets must be licensed, have had all current shots and be healthy. Both pets and owners should have been free from transmitted diseases for the past four months. Aggressive or in-heat pets are not permitted entry.
