Entering July, there are still not many live performances in the city but a diverse range of events are being held at night where locals can relax outdoors.


SPM Youth Bloc.


SPM Youth Bloc., a food, clothes and zakka (fashion and design) market, is being held every weekend at MixC World, where foodies can try grilled skewers, popular Taiwanese soy bean milk dessert, fried chicken, light diet meals, cocktails, milk tea and craft beer.

Jewelry market

Looking for jade or jewels? More than 200 jewelry dealers have set up booths at the Shenzhen Curio World during Monday to Friday nights.

OCT-LOFT’s trademark T-Street Creative Bazaar is being held every weekend, selling chic or vintage products for zakka enthusiasts.

Music by the pool


Bands will perform live music at Happy Valley’s Maya Water Park, where visitors can cool off in the pool after a day’s work.

Beer festival


Visitors can enjoy various brands of beers while watching a glittering high-definition 3-D mapping projection called “Fantasy Europe” at the Window of the World theme park. In the play of light, music and optical illusions, a series of videos illustrating European history and culture will be projected on the park’s “Caesars Palace” facade.

Water Splashing Festival

In Yunnan Province, the Water Splashing Festival is celebrated by the Dai ethnic group in April. Now, Splendid China • China Folk Culture Villages incorporates the traditional festival with electronic music, street dances and dazzling lights at the park’s Peacock Kingdom. The comprehensive park with 82 famous Chinese tourist attraction miniatures and 27 full-scale ethnic villages also has a snack and handicraft market around its Huizhou Street and Shaanxi Cave Dwellings.
