Electronics expo set for Aug. 14-16

The 8th China Information Technology Expo (CITE2020) will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center between Aug. 14 and 16, the event’s organizer said at a news conference Friday.

Comprising an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, the expo will be synchronized with the China IT Fair, China IoV Industry Expo, Shenzhen International Big Data and Storage Expo and Shenzhen International Robotics and Intelligent System, which will display the latest technologies and products in eight halls, focusing on smart home, 5G, IoT, intelligent Internet, new-energy vehicles, intelligent manufacturing and robotics, IC, as well as big data and storage, the co-organizer Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau said at the news conference.

In Hall 1, visitors can experience 5G technology and Huawei will display its products in all scenarios of smart life such as MateBook D15 2020, MatePad, and Huawei watches. TCL will show its next-generation display technologies, while Hi-Sense will introduce its first global 100-inch laser TV 100L9-PRO.

Internet of Vehicles is a new industry integrating automobiles, electronics, information communication and road transportation. Boshjie Technology Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of GPS positioning devices and intelligent electronic products in China, will display 4G-based in-car monitoring terminal, OBD in-car testing devices and positioning devices.

With the commercial deployment of 5G technologies, data processing and storage are facing challenges. Amethystum will display ZL and MHL series optical storage products. Sugon will display Cloudview V5.0 next-generation cloud computing operation system.

The new-type display area will show technology available in LCD displays, smart touch and new materials applied in new-type displays. Royole, Info Vision Optronics and other leading display manufacturers will bring together LCD, OLED, Micro LED technologies and equipment, and applications of VR/AR, 3-D, laser displays and holographic displays in vehicles, education and entertainment.

Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Shenzhen government, CITE is a national platform for the next-generation information technology industry.
