“We grew up in an Asia that was measured by Western culture. In that circumstance, the identity of Asia was becoming clouded. We tried letting go of our treasures within, but we decided that we had to learn how to reunite the world. The cultural convergence left us regretting globalization and internationalization. Sometimes, traditional Asian culture is fettered by Western culture. We are inspired and astonished to have discovered that only by tracing to the source can the inner contradiction be resolved. We tried to break the boundaries of concepts and use art design to show our experiences and achievements learned through our studying of Asian culture. Turning invisible culture into glamorous visual products is the long-lost happiness that we now reach for in the world,” the duo said.
