Two talent housing projects officially topped off in Longgang District yesterday and are in line to be completed at the end of this year.

Upon completion, the two projects will provide 1,800 units of talent housing.

The Anju Jinlongyuan project is located at the intersection of Baolong Boulevard and Jinlong Boulevard, with a total construction area of 133,420 square meters.

It will offer 1,143 units of talent housing after completion.

The other talent housing project, the Anju Xilongyuan project, is located at the intersection of Fu’an Boulevard and Ping’an Boulevard in Pinghu Subdistrict. The total construction area of the project is 48,986 square meters, and 657 talent housing units will be provided after completion.

The two projects are being developed by Shenzhen Longgang Talents Housing Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Shenzhen Talents Housing Group Co. Ltd.

Both of the projects have adopted the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) general contracting mode, and prefabricated construction technology is applied to increase efficiency while ensuring the quality of the projects.

The completion of the two talent housing projects will be of positive significance to optimize the living environment of Longgang and to attract and retain talent, according to Shenzhen Longgang Talents Housing Co. Ltd.

Shenzhen Talents Housing Group Co. Ltd. was established in 2016 as the city strengthened its efforts to attract talent. According to a report from Southcn.com, Longgang District introduced more than 3,000 university talents in 2016 and the number increased fivefold in 2019.

Shenzhen will make sustained efforts to improve the housing supply and security system of commercial residential housing, talent housing, commercial housing for low-income earners and public rental housing, according to a proposal on the city’s 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) released in December 2020.
