The 2021 Shenzhen International Financial Expo will be held between Nov. 5 and 7 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.
The expo is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of China Council for International Trade and Promotion (Shenzhen CCPIT) and Shenzhen Municipal Local Finance Regulatory Bureau.
Dubbed as one of the largest expositions in China’s financial industry, the expo will cover 30,000 square meters. It attracts 198 institutions and will showcase Shenzhen’s achievements in financial reform and innovation-driven development.
“The exposition, through thematic forums, online activities and offline roadshows, will be a platform for financial service exhibition and transactions, a platform for integration and matchmaking between finance and industries, and a cooperation and exchange platform for financial innovation,” an official with Shenzhen CCPIT said at a news briefing Thursday.
This year’s expo theme is “Finance, Tech, Digits and Green” and will have two major categories, namely financial services and financial technologies, in 18 exhibition areas. The expo will showcase financial institutions’ latest services which benefit corporations and individuals, plus the latest technology applications for AI, blockchain, cloud computing, big data, IoT and biorecognition in the financial industry.
For the first time, the organizers will designate a recruitment area for financial professionals and industrial finance. Twenty-five enterprises including China Life, Guosen Securities and GBA Finance Research Institute will offer 180 posts to recruit 360 high-end domestic and international professionals.
This year’s expo also marks its upgrade from a single exhibition to a comprehensive platform for both exhibition and transactions. During the expo, more than 100 financial institutions will display over 1,000 financial products such as incubator loans, intellectual property mortgage, debt financing, derivatives like entrepreneurial guarantees, business loans and basic science research loans.
Longhua District is organizing 18 financial enterprises to display 120 products, services and typical cases in its 1,000-square-meter exhibition area. A forum on Longhua’s digital finance development will be simultaneously held to highlight the district’s high-quality tech-driven financial sector development.
To serve the real economy and assist in consumption upgrades, nearly 30 carmakers such as Audi and BYD will exhibit more than 100 models in the automobile finance exhibition area. They will team up with financial institutions to provide personalized consumer credit services.
The Xiangmi Lake Capital Market Forum will be the highlight of the expo’s 18 forums and promotional activities. Additionally, the forum will invite financial institution officials, well-known scholars and executives of listed companies to give speeches on the healthy, stable and quality development of the capital market.
