Samson Tam, vice chairman of the Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macao Collaborative Innovation Alliance and initiator of the Zebras sci-tech startup accelerator said that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has a complete industrial chain and has brought together cutting-edge scientific research resources, venture capital resources and traditional industry resources, which can effectively help traditional enterprises to seek innovation cooperation and help global innovative technology enterprises to efficiently connect with related industrial resources in the area.

Zhang Yonghui, sales director of Elitestek introduced how technological innovation has contributed to the stability of the supply and industrial chains. The application of machine vision technology in the companies’ products such as robots, UAVs, and industrial inspection systems helped enterprises rapidly resume work and production after the epidemic and thus contributed to the stability of the global supply chain.

At the forum, 10 startup teams introduced to the audiences their innovative technology products, including a smart health management ring, an automatic disinfection system based on IoT technology, and a life risk warning system.

The forum was jointly organized by the Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macao Collaborative Innovation Alliance, the Hong Kong Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, Shenzhen Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, and Zebras sci-tech startup accelerator, among others.
