EyeShenzhen is Shenzhen's first official multilingual info portal with nine language versions. It is run by Shenzhen Daily, the only English language newspaper in Guangdong Province. The name "EyeShenzhen" implies that people will be able to get to know Shenzhen through the website. Moreover, "EYE" is an acronym for equality, youth and excellence – qualities innate to Shenzhen. "EyeShenzhen" also sounds like "爱深圳 (ài shēn zhèn)" in Chinese, which means "love Shenzhen."
Dubbed the world's window into Shenzhen, EyeShenzhen provides all-inclusive and up-to-date information for residents, investors and visitors alike. It is the prime source for the latest happenings and information on all facets of life and work in Shenzhen. Its target users include expats who live and work in Shenzhen, and those from overseas who are inclined to invest or sightsee in the city.
In addition to the website, an English-language WeChat service account by the same name is also available. Users can share EyeShenzhen articles via Weibo and WeChat with just one click.
