Shenzhen Wangye Museum

Shenzhen Wangye Museum was established with the approval of the Department of Culture of Guangdong Province in February 2009, and has registered at National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA). The museum officially opened on October 21, 2012. Its name plate was inscribed from the handwriting of Professor Su Bai from Peking University. The private-owned museum is located on the third floor of Longhua Culture Center. It collects, exhibits, studies and displays cultural relics, and now it has a collection of nearly 10,000 cultural relics and over 40,000 specimens, including some rare and unique collections. According to the museum appraisal results, it collects 55 pieces of national first-class cultural relics, 81 of second-class, and 68 of third-class and boasts the largest number of national first-class cultural relics collection in Shenzhen. It was rated as "excellent" in the evaluation of Guangdong provincial museums between 2017 and 2019.
