The moment they step into Bao'an International Airport, people can feel the bustling vitality as they get caught up in the hurrying crowds. From here, you can fly to every corner of the world.

Put into service in October 1991, Shenzhen Airport is China's fourth-largest airport and can handle the transshipment of freight from road, sea and rail. Occupying a total area of 28.3 square kilometers, the airport consists of Terminal 3 (floor space: 450,000 square meters), a satellite hall (floor space: 240,000 sqm), two parallel runways, and other facilities. All types of civil aircraft can take off and land at the airport, which will in the future add another runway and be able to handle an annual turnover of 100 million passenger trips. It aims to handle 2.6 million tons of freight in 2030 and 4.5 million tons in 2050.

Shenzhen Airport is doing everything it can to bring a high-quality experience to passengers. The more than 300 shopping outlets match the prices of other shops in the city. Tailored services are also available for passengers in need, while a state-of-the-art mother's room caters to those traveling with infants. Meanwhile, passengers can enjoy a "door-to-door" luggage service during their travel, with the luggage deposit service able to be booked from the user's smartphone. The airport has been certified as a Skytrax five-star airport, and twice voted one of World's Best Airports by the IATA. For six consecutive years, it won the title of CAPSE best airport, and in 2021, Shenzhen Airport ranked first in the world in a client satisfaction survey.
