Shekou International School

Founded in 1988, Shekou International School (SIS) in Nanshan District is a private, non-for-profit school offering international education to expatriate children in Shenzhen. It serves students in Nursery through Grade 12 (ages 2-18) on its three campuses in Nanshan District's Shekou.

Established in 2001, QSI International School of Shenzhen (QSI) is a non-profit, co-educational day school for students from two years of age through secondary graduation. BASIS International School Shenzhen

As the first BASIS Curriculum School outside of the U.S., BASIS International School Shenzhen (BISZ) opened in Shekou Net Valley in Nanshan District in 2015 after gaining authorization from the Department of Education of Guangdong Province. The school offers its rigorous BASIS Curriculum to students of Prek-1 to Grade 12, who are foreign passport holders or residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

The King's School Shenzhen International

Opened in September 2019, the Pre-prep school of the King's School Shenzhen International is the first overseas branch of the illustrious King's Canterbury in the U.K., the oldest school in Europe. Its Prep and Senior schools opened in Autumn 2022.

RDF International School

RDF International School (RDFIS) is a private boarding school offering both 5-day and 7-day boarding programs. Opened in the fall of 2015, it is a comprehensive six-year private middle and high school enrolling approximately 430 students in grades 7–12. Instruction is English-only and follows an American curriculum. It is accredited by Cognia under the name of Shenzhen RDF Foreign Language School.

RDFIS cooperates with the Chapel Field Christian School in Pine Bush, New York, United States of America. After passing an entrance exam, which includes an interview, students who choose to enroll at RDFIS are simultaneously enrolled at Chapel Field. Upon successfully completing RDFIS’ graduation requirements, students also complete the requirements for high school graduation in New York, and receive a U.S.A. diploma.

Shenzhen College of International Education

Established in 2003, Shenzhen College of International Education (SCIE) is an international high school offering an international curriculum to students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. The school follows a British-style curriculum with students completing IGCSE and A-Level courses during the four years of study. The Cambridge Assessment International Education portfolio of IGCSE qualifications provides a solid foundation for higher-level courses such as A and AS levels qualifications. The school also have some limited AP subjects available.

Shenzhen American International School

Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) is a Cognia accredited school which was established upon the approval of both the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Department of Education of Guangdong Province in May, 2005.
