Guangming Xiwu Museum

Guangming Xiwu Museum is located in Mahogany Culture Town, covering an area of about 550 m² and displaying more than 1,000 collections. The collection takes the red element as the main line, involving documents and historical materials, books, newspapers and periodicals, the Anti-Japanese War and other items. It shows the life and production of old folk objects in the early days of liberation, educated youth and the early days of reform and opening-up. It has a distinctive imprint of the times, and reproduces the original appearance of life with generative experience. The museum is based on the principle of bringing together traditional Chinese culture and awakening the memories of the times. It is a public welfare benefiting the people. It has received widespread attention and praise from all walks of life.

a) 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday

b) Closed on Mondays (for housekeeping)

c) Normally open on holidays (except for the Chinese New Year Holiday)
