

History Museum of Chung Ying Street
From: Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau
Completed and opened in May 1999, located at Shatoujiao of Yantian District with a total building area of 1,688 m2, History Museum of Chung Ying Street is responsible for the protection, collection and research of historical relics in Chung Ying Street, categorized as a national third-level museum. The standing exhibition "100 Years of Chung Ying Street" in the museum attracts about 400,000 visitors every year. Though the use of its unique geographical location, the museum actively carries out patriotic and revolutionary heritance education, and it has now become a patriotic education base in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. Every year, it will carry out "Fishing Lighting Festival of Shatoujiao" and "Cultural Experience Camp Series Activities of ChungYing Street."
Opening hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (closed on Mondays)
Permanent Exhibition:
One Hundred Years of Chung Ying Street covers an exhibition area of 1,200 m2. The length of the exhibition is nearly 400 meters and its cultural relics and exhibits reach to more than 700.
