Pingshan Theater

Pingshan Theater is located in the south area of Pingshan Culture Center, with a building area of 17,000 m². It contains a 1,200-seat grand theater, a 260-seat "black box" theater, and more than 30 functional rooms, supported with comprehensive spaces such as air garden and rest areas. It is a high-end comprehensive performance center in Shenzhen integrating performance, original work incubation, drama education, leisure and catering functions.

Pingshan Theater was officially opened on October 12, 2019 with the global premiere of the new version of Swan Lake by HK Ballet. It successively launched a series of international high-end performances such as the concert of The Orchestra of the Royal Capital City of Krakow, the concert of the Essence of Handel's Opera, Handel's opera "Xerxes". Pingshan Theater adheres to openness, vanguard and taste, and strives to build itself into a comprehensive space of drama culture, an original base of vanguard drama and a cultural landmark leading by quality.
