Founded in 1997, Shenzhen Children's Hospital is a comprehensive children-specialized hospital integrating medical treatment, health care, scientific research, teaching, and rehabilitation. It is the only AAA-rated children's hospital in Guangdong Province. The hospital, covering a total area of about 170,000 square meters, has 1,300 open beds, 54 clinical and medical departments. The annual number of outpatient and emergency visits is about 2.6 million.
