Shenzhen Kangning Hospital

Founded in 1980, Shenzhen Kangning Hospital is the only AAA-rated psychiatric hospital in Shenzhen that features disease prevention, medical treatment, rehabilitation, scientific research, and teaching, and is under direct jurisdiction of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission. In 2007, the hospital joined hands with the Shenzhen Mental Health Center to undertake the technical guidance of mental disease prevention and rehabilitation, rescue and treatment of vagrant psychiatric patients, and compulsory medical treatment of psychiatric patients.

The hospital consists of the Pingshan and Luohu campuses. It has 1,530 beds, and serves as a biological sample bank, psychiatric imaging research center, and clinical skill simulation training center.
