Shenzhen Center For Chronic Disease Control is a major component of the city’s public health system, providing prevention and control, diagnosis and treatment, and health management of chronic communicable diseases (STDs, leprosy, and tuberculosis) and chronic non-communicable diseases (tumors, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and metabolic diseases, geriatric health, oral diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and others). The new building of this health institution opened in 2018.
