Longgang Central Hospital

Founded in 1952, Longgang Central Hospital is a center for emergency treatment, medical treatment, teaching, research, rehabilitation and healthcare functions in eastern Shenzhen. It passed evaluations in 2011 to become the first AAA-rated comprehensive hospital in eastern Shenzhen. In July 2017, the Longgang Central Hospital Group was formed. Today, the hospital group includes four hospitals including Longgang Central Hospital, the Fifth People's Hospital of Longgang District, the Sixth People's Hospital of Longgang District and the Eighth People's Hospital of Longgang District. The hospital is now an affiliated hospital of Shantou University Medical College.

Longgang Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital

Longgang Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital became an AAA-rated hospital in March 9, 2021. The only AAA-rated maternity and child hospital in eastern Shenzhen, it is a hub for medical treatment for women and children, healthcare, health education, training and research in Longgang District.

Longgang District People's Hospital

The Second People's Hospital of Longgang District

Formerly known as Buji People's Hospital, the Second People's Hospital of Longgang District is an AA-rated comprehensive hospital offering medical treatment, emergency treatment, teaching, research, disease prevention and healthcare services. Covering an area of 14,800 square meters with a construction area of 39,000 square meters, the hospital provides 393 hospital beds and serves a daily average of 7,800 patients.

The Third People's Hospital of Longgang District

Founded in 1958 as Henggang People's Hospital, the Third People's Hospital of Longgang District got its present name in 2013. Covering an area of 28,400 square meters with a total construction area of 153,719 square meters, the hospital currently provides 520 hospital beds with an additional 510 beds scheduled to open to the public when construction of a new building for internal medicine department completes in 2025.

The Fourth People's Hospital of Longgang District

Founded in August 1988, the Fourth People's Hospital of Longgang District is also known as Nanwan People's Hospital. The hospital passed evaluations to become an A-rated hospital in 1994.

The Fifth People's Hospital of Longgang District

Located next to the Pinghu Railway Station, the Fifth People's Hospital of Longgang District, also known as Pinghu People's Hospital, is the only public comprehensive hospital in Longgang District's Pinghu Subdistrict. The hospital covers an area of 16,749 square meters and provides 216 hospital beds.

The Sixth People's Hospital of Longgang District

Founded in 1979 as Pingdi People's Hospital, the Sixth People's Hospital of Longgang District got its present name in June 2014. This comprehensive public hospital covers 58,400 square meters of land with its 29,700-square-meter first phase providing 250 hospital beds, and the 28,600-square-meter second phase, which is currently under construction, is scheduled to provide 600 hospital beds and 700 beds for elderly care upon completion.

The Seventh People's Hospital of Longgang District

Formerly known as Shawan Health Center, the Seventh People's Hospital of Longgang District was renamed in 2015. It is a comprehensive public hospital with medical treatment, teaching, research, disease prevention and rehabilitation functions. Since 2020, the hospital has been temporarily relocated to the Jianzhu Nursing Home in Zaohekeng Industrial Zone in Jixia Community.

Shenzhen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine

The Shenzhen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine covers an area of 57,293.64 square meters with a construction area of around 80,000 square meters. Opened in December 2012, it is the only traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Longgang District.
