Founded in 1984, The First Hospital of Bao'an People's Hospital Group is a comprehensive public hospital that offers medical treatment, disease prevention, and rehabilitation services as well as teaching and research functions. It is a nonaffiliated hospital of Southern Medical University, a teaching hospital for other medical universities in Guangdong, a training base for chief physicians, and a postdoctoral research station of Sun Yat-sen University.
