Southern University of Science and Technology Hospital 

The Southern University of Science and Technology Hospital is a public hospital invested by the Nanshan District Government and run by the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Founded in 1985 as Xili People's Hospital, it was renamed Southern University of Science and Technology in May 2018. Covering 24,000 square meters, it has 586 hospital beds. Construction has started on Phase II of the hospital, which will have 1,200 hospital beds upon completion. The hospital's departments of gynecology and obstetrics and orthopedics are particularly strong.
