【Incentives for attracting talent】Newly introduced doctors can get 100,000 yuan of subsidies

The Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau have issued the Measures for the Implementation of Living Allowances for Newly Introduced Doctoral Talents in Shenzhen. This provides subsidies to newly introduced doctoral degree holders under 35 years old who have been working full-time in Shenzhen since September 1, 2021. Eligible Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign doctoral degree holders who are employed for the first time in Shenzhen can enjoy the same subsidies.

Key requirements:

(1) Has obtained Shenzhen permanent residency (except for overseas talents)

(2) Has obtained a doctoral degree

(3) At the time of the first application, the applicant has worked full-time in Shenzhen, and paid social insurance through his employers for more than three months.

(4) At the time of applying for renewal, the applicant must have a permanent residence permit in Shenzhen, have been working full-time, and have paid social insurance through his or her local employers for more than 12 months.

Policy benefits:

The living allowance for newly introduced doctoral talents is 100,000 yuan per person. They will be reviewed and granted twice, with the initial amount reaching 30% and the subsequent amount representing 70% of the total.

Application procedures:

Online processing: The applicant must log in to the Guangdong Government Affairs Service Network, search for "Subsidies for Newly Introduced Doctoral Talents in Shenzhen," and click "Online Processing."

Offline processing: At the Shenzhen Talent Park Service Hall or Shenzhen Municipal Administrative Service Hall.
