City to establish intl. gold and jewelry brand center

Shenzhen will establish an international gold and jewelry brand center in Shuibei, China’s vital jewelry and gold trading center, according to a jewelry brand development conference held in Luohu District recently.

Over 44 gold and jewelry brands, including Caibai Jewelry, King Tai Fook and Lukfook Jewelry, will participate in the project to jointly establish the center.

During the conference, the results for 44 gold and jewelry brands’ value assessments were unveiled.

Batar Group’s brand value is about 23.31 billion yuan (US$3.25 billion), while Chow Tai Fook is worth 91 billion yuan and Laofengxiang is worth 78 billion yuan.
