The exhibition featured four application scenarios: Shenzhen North Station Transport Hub, Qiaocheng East Depot, Lianhuacun Station and Shenzhen Metro Group’s office building.

At Qiaocheng East Depot, two parking lots were equipped with 287-square-meter photovoltaic panels that can generate 56,000 kWh of electricity a year. The depot also incorporated photovoltaic power generation facilities that can produce 3.27 million kWh of electricity a year and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 3,260 tons a year.

The photovoltaic panel installed at Exit E of Lianhuacun Station, measuring about 144 square meters, can generate 20,000 kWh of electricity a year and help reduce 19 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to planting 11 trees.

The Metro group has so far completed four photovoltaic projects, including Metro Line 6’s elevated stations and Huangmugang Comprehensive Transport Hub. The projects can collectively generate 2.74 million kWh of electricity annually and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2,600 tons. The three under-construction projects include Shenzhen North Station Transport Hub, Shenzhen Metro Group’s office building, and the CRRC Shenzhen Base.
