Canton enamels, fossils

A free exhibition running until Oct. 22 showcases 258 Canton enamels on loan from 10 museums around China. A Jehol Biota fossil exhibition, running until Oct. 8, is home to more than 120 fossils formed about 120 millions of years ago.

Contemporary art

The “Topologies of the Real” exhibition features over 100 works by international artists spanning from the late 19th century to the present, including early experiments on film, photography, video, computer and telepresence art, as well as works by modern artists. Meanwhile, China’s national pavilion from the 59th Venice International Art Exhibition is exhibiting works at another exhibition. Both events end July 23.

‘Cézanne’

The digital exhibitions of French post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) are being held at two places. On display are digital projections of Cézanne’s masterpieces portraying his beloved landscapes of Provence, his melancholic portraits and still life paintings.
