Huang Zhijian’s paintings

Infused with a touch of contemporary spirit, the works of Lingnan School painter Huang Zhijian (1919-1994) have taken center stage at a free exhibition running until Aug. 10.

Contemporary art

“The Wife Went to Start a Business” showcases Shenzhen artist Li Liao’s works based on his temporary job as a food delivery man. At Yan Shanchun’s “Fuchun” exhibition, the artist presents his sensible artistic expression in paintings portraying the four seasons in Fuchun, an ancient area in modern Fuyang District in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Veteran artist Liang Quan is also exhibiting his abstract paintings at the “Green” exhibition.

Art at old village

A contemporary art exhibition running until July 31 at the centuries-old Fang’er Hakka village serves as a bridge between the past and present, delving into the intricate connections between traditional houses, culture and individuals.

‘Sanxingdui Unveiled’

The “Sanxingdui Unveiled” exhibition, running until Sept. 17, invites visitors to have a close look at Sanxingdui’s relics presented in ultra-HD images and videos taken in 12K macro photography.

‘Dunhuang’

The “Dunhuang Light and Shadow Art” exhibition, running until Aug. 31, utilizes digital art techniques to present Dunhuang frescoes, dances, musical instruments, statues and history in a new and enchanting way, creating a magnificent and dreamlike Dunhuang world.
