Posters, paintings

Dazzling posters by 10 prominent designers from Shenzhen and Poznań, Poland are on display at the “30th Anniversary of Shenzhen-Poznań Sister Cities Exhibition of Poster Design” through Aug. 20. Meanwhile, the “Innovation of Painting” exhibition, running through Nov. 20, features paintings and sketches by Guan Shanyue (1912-2000) during his trip to Southwest China between 1940 and 1946.

Canton enamels, fossils

A free exhibition running until Oct. 22 showcases 258 Canton enamels on loan from 10 museums around China. A Jehol Biota fossil exhibition, running until Oct. 8, is home to more than 120 fossils formed about 120 million years ago.

Tatsuya Miyanishi

Don’t miss out on the extraordinary “Tatsuya Miyanishi’s World of Wonders” exhibition, running through Aug. 27. With Miyanishi’s whimsical illustrations and rich storytelling, visitors will be transported to magical realms and be introduced to fascinating characters.

‘Sanxingdui Unveiled’

The “Sanxingdui Unveiled” exhibition, running until Sept. 17, invites visitors to have a close look at Sanxingdui’s relics presented in ultra-HD images and videos taken in 12K macro photography.

‘Dunhuang’

The “Dunhuang Light and Shadow Art” exhibition, running until Aug. 31, utilizes digital art techniques to present Dunhuang frescoes, dances, musical instruments, statues and history in a new and enchanting way, creating a magnificent and dreamlike Dunhuang world.

Electronic art

Lin Xi, a young artist engaged in electronic disassembly art, is exhibiting her works at a new exhibition running until Oct. 18. She tears apart used electronic products and then presents the components in an artistic way, which has gained her popularity on Douyin.

‘Cézanne’

The digital exhibitions of French post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) are being held at two places. On display are digital projections of Cézanne’s masterpieces portraying his beloved landscapes of Provence, his melancholic portraits and still life paintings.
