To improve the oral Chinese proficiency of foreign residents living in Longhua District’s Minzhi area and help them better integrate into the community, over the past few months the Shenzhen Hongshan International Service Center has offered a series of free Chinese language training courses. The courses were taught online through the Zoom APP and broadcast live on WeChat Channels. The learning content included vocational Chinese vocabulary, commonly used Chinese phrases, and daily conversations. During the online classes, students showed strong enthusiasm towards Chinese language learning, actively asking questions, interacting with teachers, participating in discussions, and doing their homework. More than 5,100 viewers watched the live broadcasts of the six classes given up to now, according to the center.
