Tatsuya Miyanishi

Don’t miss out on the extraordinary “Tatsuya Miyanishi’s World of Wonders” exhibition, running through Aug. 27. With Miyanishi’s whimsical illustrations and rich storytelling, visitors will be transported to magical realms and be introduced to fascinating characters.

Bird photos, ‘Guangming Project’

Photographic works by four prominent birders, Zhang Mingjie, Li Ming, John Speakman and Nan Zhaoxu, are on display through Aug. 31. The show provides an immersive and fun experience of learning about birds. Another exhibition titled “Guangming Project” is inviting visitors to explore Guangming District’s history and future vision through sound archives, installations and photographs. The works by three young resident artists are on display through Sept. 25.

Pompeii, Maijishan Grottoes

The Nanshan Museum is offering visitors a unique opportunity to travel back in time and experience the ancient Roman city of Pompeii through an exhibition on Pompeii relics. The exhibition ends Sept. 3. Visitors can also meet fascinating smiling sculptures from the magnificent Maijishan Grottoes at another exhibition running through Oct. 29.

‘Dunhuang’

The “Dunhuang Light and Shadow Art” exhibition, running until Aug. 31, utilizes digital art techniques to present Dunhuang frescoes, dances, musical instruments, statues and history in a new and enchanting way, creating a magnificent and dreamlike Dunhuang world.

‘Cézanne’

An immersive exhibition, running through Aug. 31, showcases digital projections of French painter Paul Cézanne’s masterpieces portraying his beloved landscapes of Provence, his melancholic portraits and still life paintings.

‘Meaning of Landscape’

The “Meaning of Landscape,” a landscape prints collection exhibition, running through Aug. 31, enables visitors to see the natural and humanistic landscapes through the interpretation of international printmaking artists.

Chen Fenwan’s paper-cutting

Young Guangdong artist Chen Fenwan is presenting her collection of imaginative paper-cutting artworks, each one meticulously crafted in shades of mesmerizing pink or other vibrant colors, at an exhibition running through Oct. 29.
