Basketball player Kyle Anderson visits ancestral home in city

Chinese basketball player Kyle Anderson, known as Li Kaier in China, and his mother paid a visit to their family members at Pinghu in Longgang District, Shenzhen, the home city of his mother’s Chinese family, yesterday. It was their reunion after a five-year absence. The U.S.-born former NBA player, who is one-eighth Chinese and obtained his Chinese citizenship in July, represented China in a match against Serbia in the FIBA Solidarity Cup in Shenzhen on Sunday.
