Philip Colbert, James Jean

British artist Philip Colbert is showcasing his lobster artworks at an exhibition running through Oct. 15. His sculptures, giant installations, paintings, industrial designs and new media artworks promise to bewitch art enthusiasts with their imaginative interpretations. Contemporary artist James Jean is also exhibiting his awe-inspiring paintings, sculptures, installations, drafts and research works at an exhibition running through Nov. 17.

Maijishan, Tang Dynasty relics

Visitors can meet fascinating smiling sculptures from the magnificent Maijishan Grottoes in Gansu Province at an exhibition running through Oct. 29. Meanwhile, another exhibition of Tang Dynasty (618-907) relics excavated from Jinxiang County Princess’ tomb in modern Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, is being held until Nov. 26.

‘Sanxingdui Unveiled’

The “Sanxingdui Unveiled” exhibition, running until this Sunday, invites visitors to have a close look at Sanxingdui’s relics presented in ultra-HD images and videos taken in 12K macro photography.

Xu Beihong’s paintings

Locals are having a rare opportunity to admire more than 80 masterpieces created by Xu Beihong (1895-1953) between the 1920s and the 1940s at an exhibition running until Nov. 12.
