Electronic art

Lin Xi, a young artist engaged in electronic disassembly art, is exhibiting her works at an exhibition running until Oct. 18. She tears apart used electronic products and then presents the components in an artistic way, which gains her popularity.

Maijishan, Tang Dynasty relics

Visitors can meet fascinating smiling sculptures from the magnificent Maijishan Grottoes in Gansu Province at an exhibition running through Oct. 29. Meanwhile, another exhibition of Tang Dynasty (618-907) relics excavated from Jinxiang County Princess’ tomb in modern Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, is being held until Nov. 26.

Watercolor biennale

Art enthusiasts can admire more than 200 paintings at the Third Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennale running until this Friday. The exhibition reflects the thriving development of global watercolor art. Many adopt new techniques and new materials, endowing watercolor art with refreshing visual effects.

Photos, abstract paintings

Fascinated by the constant presence of people engrossed in their mobile phones, either in subways, conference rooms, or in scenic spots and on escalators, Chinese artist Li Xiaoliang, better known as Alexvi, captured these individuals and is exhibiting the photos at an exhibition. Meanwhile, veteran artist Liang Quan is also exhibiting his abstract paintings.

European Contemporary Art

Contemporary artworks created by 35 artists, including David Gerstein, Richard Orlinski, Annalù and David Harber, are on display at the “Art Composition: European Contemporary Art Exhibition” running until Sept. 30.
