Street art festival brings wonder to holidays

The Fifth International Street Art Festival commenced today at the Window of the World theme park in Nanshan District. 

This eight-day event, running through Oct. 6, features over 100 talented international performers, some of whom have participated in renowned art festivals like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Notting Hill Carnival. The festival aims to offer tourists a visual art spectacle during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

The diverse range of performances features a fusion of art forms such as dance, music and acrobatics, accompanied by captivating visual displays. Highly anticipated performers include Flame Oz, renowned for their mesmerizing fire dance show, the charismatic music and dance duo Old Time Rags, and the comical and entertaining Bumbulum the Fool.

During the holidays, the theme park will offer a wide array of festive activities for both local and international tourists. They include Mid-Autumn Han Chinese clothing parties, vibrant five-continent carnival parades, interactive sessions with adorable pets, exhilarating electronic music parties, and dazzling firework shows.

Furthermore, Window of the World has adjusted its opening hours to ensure visitors can enjoy the park from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Additionally, over 10 entertainment projects within the park have extended their operation hours to meet the high demand of tourists seeking excitement and joy.
