The opening concert of the "My Town, My Folk" New Era Chinese urban folk song series took place at OH Bay in Shenzhen's Bao'an District on Saturday evening.

Folk singers, bands, musicians, and guests united to lend their voices to this grand gathering within Shenzhen's "new folk music" scene and the broader music community. This concert brought together nearly 50 folk artists hailing from over 20 cities across the nation.

Beyond the opening concert, this event will continue for a duration of two months, showcasing a total of eight concerts, culminating in a grand closing ceremony.

The concert also marked the official establishment of a center in Shenzhen dedicated to providing a platform for Chinese urban folk song musicians to debut their works.
