Science City Wisdom Park

Covering an area of 253,000 square meters, the park is located in the northern part of the Yungu area in Xinhu Subdistrict, northeastern Guangming.

Surrounded by mountains and waters, the park connects with the Shenzhen campus of Sun Yat-sen University to its north, the Shenzhen University of Science and Technology (under planning) to its east, the Guangming Agricultural Tourism Park to its south and the Science Park to its west. It is also close to Guangming Science City, a world-class science center in the making.

With a design concept of integrating nature, humanity, and scientific and technological innovation, the park has elements including industry-academia integration, talent and ecological protection.

Science City Wisdom Park, composed of three core landscapes, features pleasant views of verdant lawns, clear lakes, various fishes swimming in the lakes, and several egrets resting on the shore.

With water as its theme, the park refashioned the two lakes in its southern and eastern parts and created the three core landscapes, namely “Haihui (海汇)”, “Yuanchong (源涌)”, and “Wanliu (湾流)”, as well as two belt-shaped corridors, “Chuanlian (川涟)” and “Xitang (溪淌),” through the transformation of the lakes and the water system of the Xinqiang River, which connects the east and west sides of the park.

“Yuanchong (源涌)” is designed to provide a waterfront leisure space by making full use of the existing mountains and lakes, while “Wanliu (湾流),” located in the southernmost of the park, features a multi-functional space that combines landscapes with offices, commercial buildings and residential facilities.

“Xitang (溪淌),” a long and narrow corridor with meticulously designed landscapes on both sides that connects “Yuanchong (源涌)” and “Wanliu (湾流),” is an ideal place for a stroll.
