

University to showcase latest achievements at hi-tech fair

The Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT) will present its latest achievements at the 25th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.

SIAT’s exhibition booth will highlight the institution’s faculty strengths, academic prowess, and overall objectives, showcasing the latest accomplishments from various faculties, including the Faculty of Life and Health Science, Faculty of Computing Science and Control Engineering, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Material Science and Engineering, and the Faculty of Synthetic Biology.
The booth will also present projects such as a microgrid system designed to optimize power usage and a joint laboratory engaged in microalgae synthetic biotechnology.
SIAT will introduce its seventh faculty, the Faculty of Computing Microelectronics, during the X-Lake Forum, a key sideline event of CHTF.
Additionally, during the forum, the Shenzhen Computing Microelectronics Industrial Alliance, a collaborative effort involving SIAT, will be inaugurated. The alliance aims to propel Shenzhen’s growth in the integrated circuit and semiconductor industry, cultivate potential talents for high-tech companies specializing in integrated circuits, drive fundamental technological innovation, and achieve breakthroughs in key technologies.
