The 2023 GBA Talents Fair and the 27th National Autumn Fair for Graduates, which opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District yesterday, are offering 50,000 job vacancies, with 1,395 enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) participating. The two-day fair is a highlight of the 2nd National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services.

“This is the largest job fair I have attended in recent years, and we have received a lot of applications from jobseekers, including students from overseas,” said Zhu Yijiao, a human resources business partner from Richinfo, an internet company planning to recruit 60 people for its IT positions.

Li Liying, a student from Hong Kong CityU, attended with the hope of finding a job in the GBA, a region with strong incentives and a solid foundation for personal growth.

Data from the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau showed that Shenzhen boasted 1,922 human resources agencies and 39,000 employees in the human resource industry as of the end of September. The industry posted a revenue of 76.4 billion yuan (US$10.72 billion) between January and September, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 23.8%.
