Xun performance

With 7,000 years of history, the xun is one of China's oldest wind instruments. Originated as a hunting horn in primitive societies, it evolved to become a musical instrument in the Shang Dynasty (1600 B.C.-1046 B.C.) and was used extensively in court music performances.

SWIS Winter Celebration

After a four-year hiatus, the SWIS winter celebration is back to town! The only event of the year when SWIS opens to the community, the admission-free celebration will include a global food gala, a winter bazaar, a raffle draw and five hours of non-stop performances. It is also an opportunity to meet with the school's admission office staffers who will be on site to answer questions.

SWIC Holiday Charity Bazaar

Seaside Picnic & Photo Walk

Interested in making some new friends while exploring the city? Join Vitality Quotient for a seaside picnic and photo walk in Yantian District this Sunday. The picnic under palm trees will include ice-breaking games, while the photo walk will be around the Spanish-style Haishan Park and the bustling Yantian Seafood Street. There will also be an aerial yoga session before the activity for participants who are interested in experiencing it.

Shenzhen Bay Communitty Fun Games 

Hosted by the Shenzhen Bay Community in Shekou Subdistrict and organized by the Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats, the 6th Fun Games of Shenzhen Bay Community will include several actitivies that promise laughters and fun.

Santa Run

In collaboration with the Shenzhen Charity Foundation, Captivating will be holding its 5th annual Santa Run. Come and join a group of running Santas for a fun fesive morning to help raise funds for underprivileged children in Qinghai, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces and regions. And don't forget to register before Nov. 24 to receive a souvenir shirt.
