Oyster festival unfolds in Shajing

The 20th Shajing Golden Oyster Food Folk Culture Festival, which is also known as the Shajing Golden Oyster Festival, is being held in Shajing, Bao’an District. Eating oysters in Shajing during winter has evolved into an annual tradition for Shenzhen residents. Running until Jan. 1, this year’s festival boasts the participation of 55 food vendors from Shajing, alongside major catering brands, offering an array of traditional specialties such as fried oyster pancakes, crispy fried oysters, oyster porridge, charcoal-grilled oysters, and pan-fried golden oysters.
