Guided by the Pingshan District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau's initiative of holding public art activities in communities, schools, universities, industrial parks, and factories in the district, Pingshan Art Museum (PAM) launched the "Art Takeaway" project in May 2023. Through collective efforts with residents, students, teachers, shop staff, and industrial park employees, the project has been cultivating a sustainable public education network and delving into Pingshan's history and life stories.

Over the span of half a year, the project involved extensive field studies and community explorations, and it encouraged individuals from all walks of life to utilize their senses to discover and document Pingshan’s distinctive attributes.

The exhibition itself features a diverse range of works, including collage artworks created by students, tote bags repurposed from used flour bags, and art installations crafted from various materials.

The exhibition aims to offer visitors new perspectives on Pingshan's culture, communities, history, and daily life. Additionally, it seeks to prompt a reconsideration of the relationship between individuals and the local area.
