Nanshan holds high-quality development conference

Nanshan District held its high-quality development conference on Feb. 19.

Huang Xiangyue, secretary of the CPC Nanshan District Committee, gave a speech at the conference. He noted that with the district's joint efforts, Nanshan has delivered an exceptional performance in achieving high-quality development under unexpected pressure over the past year.

Huang stressedthat 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan.

It is necessary to recognize the remarkable economic achievements in 2023, boost confidence, and strive to achieve a good start in the first quarter, accordingto Huang.

Huang pointed out that Nanshan should focus on the central task of developing its economy and the primary task of high-quality development, and continue to consolidate and enhance the trend of economic recovery.

Li Xiaoning, deputy secretary of the CPC Nanshan District Committee and district mayor of Nanshan District People's Government, deployed the district's annual tasksfor economic work at the conference.

According to Li, each subdistrict and department should follow the work requirements of the CPC Nanshan District Committee and the government, and make every effort to ensure a good start in the first quarter and promote high-quality economic development throughout the year.
