The new energy arm of Shenzhen Bus Group and a Futian-based tech firm inked an agreement March 5 to build liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging stations across the city.
The deal has obtained support from Futian's district government and is part of Shenzhen Bus’efforts to build 100 liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging stations by the end of this month in the city.
According to the deal, Shenzhen Bus New Energy Co.will team up with Wiseman (Shenzhen) New Energy Technology Co., a Futian firm focusing on the design, research and development of intelligent charging products and SaaS platform for new energy vehicles (NEVs), to fully leverage their respective advantages to explore opportunities in the NEV industrial chain.
The two firms will jointly participate in the charging infrastructure constructionfor NEVs, charging operation and SaaS platform maintenance, solar power storage and power battery testing, and other fields.
A liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging demonstration station, jointly constructed by the two firms, was unveiled the same day.
The station adopts a 640kW full liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging products, and all charging terminals support V2G function.
The installed capacity of the solar panels at the station is 15kW and the annual power generation can reach more than 25,000kWh. The installed capacity for energy storage is 215kWh. The fully liquid-cooled supercharging terminals at the station, which integrates liquid storage and charging with ultra-quiet operation, can charge NEVs at a speed of up to 1 kilometer per second, equivalent to drivers fully charging their cars while finishing a cup of coffee.
