The Channel starts from the Zhuhai (National) Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and crosses the mouth of the Pearl River at Yamen, the Huangmao Sea, to connect with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Its west extension connects with the Xintai Expressway, intersects with the West Coastal Expressway of Guangdong and ends at Doushan Town, Taishan City of Guangdong Province.

Details of Huangmao Sea Channel in brief.

As one of the key transportation projects in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Huangmao Sea Channel is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2024.

Stretching 31 kilometers across the Huangmao Sea, the Channel will shorten the travel time from Zhuhai to Jiangmen to about 30 minutes. (GD Today)
